Virtually unchanged from earlier versions of its iPod nano 4G cases, Gecko Gear’s new Gecko Glove ($15), Ice Case ($15), and Sports Armband ($20) for iPod nano 5G offer you the choice of either silicone (Glove) or hard clear plastic (Ice) protection for parts of the iPod nano. Gecko includes a cleaning cloth and screen protector with each item, but no Click Wheel coverage, and the tailoring on the Click Wheels of the black or clear frosted rubber Gecko Glove cases appears to be a bit off. The Sports Armband pairs a less protective variation on the Gecko Glove with a neoprene armband. We continue to feel that these designs are third-rate and in need of superior protection and attention to detail.
