We’re showcasing Glouv’s Contempo ($49) more for its form than its function: the case is a pretty standard iPad 2 and third-generation iPad folio, complete with a bezel-covering frame and the ability to fold into a handful of viewing angles. What we do like about it is the pattern of alternating microsuede squares that are stitched together on the outside of the case — a distinctive and very cool look. According to Glouv, Contempo is available at “all major Apple Stores near you,” however a check of Apple’s web store doesn’t bring up any results, and the company doesn’t generally stock third-party iPad cases, seemingly a bit of over-optimism on the Korea-based developer’s part.
