First Look: Griffin Elan Folio for iPad

Updated

Borrowing design elements from both prior Griffin leather cases and Apple’s official iPad Case, Elan Folio for iPad ($50) offers the same fold-back front lid that converts into a stand for video or typing, and an interior iPad holder with a hole cut out for the device’s ambient light sensor. Less protective on the sides than Apple’s iPad Case, Elan Folio looks nicer, though the question of whether it’s actually leather or a facsimile remains open.
