First Look: Griffin Technology TuneBuds Mobile for iPhone

Due to ship in December, the latest version of Griffin’s TuneBuds earphones, TuneBuds Mobile ($40) is designed to let you listen to, talk through, and control the iPhone. Like Apple’s packed-in iPhone Stereo Headset, TuneBuds Mobile features an iPhone-ready headphone port plug, an in-line microphone, and a button to let you stop, start, and skip music tracks, as well as answering or ending phone calls. Fabric cabling and silicone-tipped in-canal earbuds are differentiators from Apple’s design. They can still be used on other iPods, and have not yet been added to Griffin’s web site.
