Bundled with the company’s iLOCKr security devices for iPods and iPod nanos, and planned for separate sale, i2 Electronics’ iWRAPr / iRap skins are essentially shrinkwrap for your iPod, coming in sets of three and requiring you to briefly use a hair dryer (set on high) to shrink the plastic to the iPod’s size. We can’t claim to be incredibly impressed by the look of the results – even after trying to gently sweep the hot air over the iPod’s surface, the iRaps showed wrinkles, and it took a bit to get the corners even looking decent – but this is a cheap, somewhat protective and very low-profile option that doesn’t limit iPod screen or Click Wheel access.
