Incase’s Icon, Pop, and Textured Snap cases ($35-$40) for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are the first Incase iPhone cases we’ve seen since the company was acquired by Incipio last year. All of these cases make the leap from iPhone 6s to these new devices. We received Icon for iPhone 7, Textured Snap for iPhone 7 Plus, and Pop for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. All three cases have proper button coverage and cover all sides of an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.

Icon for iPhone 7 uses Incase’s “TENSAERLITE protection technology,” which is meant to provide excellent protection in a thin frame. We don’t think Icon is particularly thin, but it is a very nice, sturdy case, with a perforated back that improves grip.
Pop is thinner than Icon. It doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as Icon, either, but it should still provide good protection for an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. We are a bit concerned about the long-term durability of the small section of the case between the Home button and Lightning port, based on a bit of warping we’ve seen in just a few days.
Textured Snap is a great choice for iPhone 7 Plus users who prefer something with more grip than a typical case. The co-molded Textured Snap is quite stylish, in our estimation, and the inner microsuede backing is a nice touch. But we are concerned with fraying edges around the sides of the case, where the textured surface meets the TPU bumper.
Minor qualms here or there, notwithstanding, Icon, Pop, and Textured Snap all have more than enough positives to offer iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus users. All three cases earn our strong general recommendation.
