Although they’re sold as two different products, Incipio’s Premium Kickstand ($40) and Executive Premium Kickstand for iPad 2 ($60) are very much alike in all but their materials. Both cases are trifold folios, held shut by an elastic band that wraps around from the back to the front. Rather than the traditional shell or frame, they hold the iPad 2 in place with four hard plastic clips: two on the right, one on the bottom, and the last on the left. While these work to keep the tablet secure, they offer very little side protection. The flap that the device sits on folds up at its right edge to turn the case into a viewing stand at one of three angles. Another flap on the front cover folds out to create a keyboard stand. Magnets in front covers of both activate the automatic locking feature. Executive Premium Kickstand is made out of leather, while Premium Kickstand is nylon, explaining their $20 price difference.
