As one of the more unusual mounting solutions we’ve seen, Kensington’s Power Port Mount for iPhone and iPod ($30) attempts only to mount your device in a power port, rather than also trying to charge it.
It therefore provides a pass-through power port of its own, so that you can connect a separate charger you may already have, or want to match with the mount.
Kensington uses one of its older universal device cradles along with a flexible gooseneck in this mount.
