With its PH3 Metallic Stand Case for iPhone 4 ($35), Luxa2 incorporated a metal stand into an otherwise traditional plastic shell. The case leaves both the top and bottom edges of the iPhone 4 exposed, as well as a portion of the left side for access to the volume buttons and side switch.
Along the bottom half of the back is the metal portion; it runs the entire width of the device, with a hinge roughly halfway across. Once you wrestle the stand away from the body, it creates a rather deep viewing angle in landscape orientation.
