Released on the late side given that the original iPad has been discontinued already in most of the world, Korean stand and case designer M.brdz / DMAC Crystalstand for iPad (89,000 Won/$82) is nonetheless a physically interesting alternative for users who want to transform their iPads into miniature iMacs.
The clear plastic rear housing rotates on a machined aluminum base resembling the leg of a recent iMac computer, complete with a cable hole in the back; a thin clear iPad shell doubles as a half-case and a mount integration system to connect the tablet to the stand when you want to keep it upright on a flat surface.
Pivoting and 90-degree rotation are both supported by the stand.
