Two new Moshi cases have arrived at our door — iGlaze Armour ($45) for iPhone 6 Plus and Overture ($45) for iPhone 6. iGlaze Armour is a thin polycarbonate hardshell case with sleep/wake button and volume control coverage — it features a shiny metallic finish on its back. Overture is a wallet folio case featuring a plastic shell inside a fabric cover.
The case has three card slots, an inner pocket for papers or cash, and a removable cleaning cloth, which is kept on the inner flap. A folding stand function is also built into Overture. Both cases are available for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
iGlaze Armour is a pretty straightforward case, with equally straightforward pros and cons.
We like the metallic look of the back, but we’re never fond about companies leaving cutouts to reveal the Apple logo. And while the case is sturdy and thin — it’s important not to add much bulk to the larger iPhone 6 Plus — we don’t like the feel of the button coverage, which is vague and will have you pushing harder than is necessary.
Overture does what too few folio wallets are doing recently — three card slots and an extra pocket offer a fair amount of storage. The stand feature and built-in cleaning cloth are nice touches, as well, and it’s nice to be able to use your camera without removing the iPhone from the case.
