Kyoto-based Musubi is just getting started as a brand, having recently released a handful of cases on Amazon and Etsy. Among the cooler models is Pokke ($47), which means “pocket” in Japanese.
The case itself is made of plastic, with a bumper that runs around the edges, and a backplate that slides into place from the top. Augmented by a thin piece of wood, the backplate includes a fabric pocket that can hold business or credit cards.
It has very Japanese aesthetics, and it’s actually pretty cool. Multiple colors and styles are available.
