Hong Kong-based iPhone case maker Musubo has released two distinctive designs for the iPhone 5: Hypergrip ($30) and Retro ($35).
The former is a simple silicone rubber case with a contrast-colored hard plastic bar running diagonally across the back, matching a grippy molded pattern above and below it; the latter is a two-layer rubber case and hard plastic frame design, similar in looks to a classic microphone.
Retro looks and feels considerably more elaborate than Hypergrip, but both have the same integrated button protection and holes, apart from Retro’s unsightly rear Apple logo hole.
