Bearing an uncanny similarity to the Sonnet Volta battery we’ve previously reviewed – as well as other OEM battery packs we saw on a recent trip to Asia – Newer Technology’s NuPower ViDEO+ (Video Plus) is a strap-on battery pack for the fifth-generation iPod, paired with a matching silicone case and a foam spacer pad that guarantees its compatibility with thinner 5G models.
ViDEO+ promises to enable a fully charged iPod to deliver up to 80 total hours of music playback or 16 hours of video playback.
A rotatable, detachable belt clip will also be included in the package.
