Made mostly from aluminum that’s been coated with black soft touch rubber, Newer Technology’s NuStand 360 ($60) is the latest desktop stand released for iPads and iPad 2s.
This one requires you to insert a bare tablet, which is held in place with one of two sets of four rubber corner grips, then rotated or tilted as you prefer.
A hole in the back allows you to connect a self-supplied Dock Connector cord; you need to screw the stand together with an included screwdriver.
