While we enjoy Olloclip’s 4-in-1 Photo Lens and other lenses for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we also always use cases on our iPhones at iLounge. And Olloclip’s lenses and cases didn’t mix — requiring case removal every time the Olloclip was used — until now. Olloclip’s new Ollocase ($30) is built to protect the iPhone, while allowing users to slide the company’s lenses on and off with ease.
We received the iPhone 6 edition of the case for review.

As a case itself, Ollocase is fine. It provides proper button coverage for the volume controls and sleep/wake button, and features rubberized bumpers for added drop protection, though it does leave the bottom of the iPhone 6 exposed. Most likely though, current or prospective Olloclip users will be those taking interest in the case, and to that end, Ollocase works like a charm.
An Olloclip lens kit can be simply installed or removed, and the fit is perfect, as expected.
Ollocase does what it was designed to do — it makes it easy to affix an Olloclip lens system to an iPhone 6, while still providing pretty good protection for the phone. The case will appeal to a limited audience, to be sure, but it’s nice to see Olloclip take the extra step and provide a proper case for users of the company’s lenses. If you’re a heavy Olloclip user, Ollocase is a no-brainer.
