A fairly ingenious car or desk stand alternative for iPod and iPhone users, Power Support’s new Birch Car Stand Universal ($25) is a padded metal device frame that has the ability to expand or contract in size to hold any model from the iPod shuffle and iPod nano up through the iPod touch and iPhone, plus a ball-joint base that allows the device to turn on any orientation, pivot, and recline.
Adhesive pads are included to mount the stand on anything from a wall to a car dashboard, as well.
This is currently a Japan-only release from Power Support, but it’s interesting enough to consider worthy of a U.S.
