Three new cases from PureGear are now available for iPhone 6/6s and iPhone 6/6s Plus. DualTek Pro ($40) is a co-molded case with flexible sides and a hard back. The Motif Series ($30) cases and Slim Shell Pro ($30) cases are pretty similar — both are rubber-and-polycarbonate cases with metallic buttons.
Slim Shell Pro is slightly thicker, featuring the same AirTek Suspension tech seen in DualTek Pro. The Motif Series offers a number of different printed patterns, unlike the other cases, which have a plain, straightforward look. All the cases have proper button coverage on both the 6s and 6s Plus models.
DualTek Pro is the most protective case of the three, though how much more protective is hard to quantify.
It does feel a bit more solid than the other options, with its hard back and shock-absorbing interior. DualTek Pro comes in five different color options.
PureGear’s Motif Series cases will appeal to those who want a bit more flair, with a number of various printed designs available. The cases don’t sacrifice protection for style though, as they’re certainly adequate for everyday use.
Slim Shell Pro may be the “middle” option here in protection, but there isn’t much differentiating the three cases in that arena when it comes to most everyday situations.
