Varying in innovation and polish from case to case, the new lineup of Sena-branded leather cases has arrived for the iPad. One is Folio ($100), a flip-style folder that is distinguished from myriad earlier designs by the quality of its leather — which arrives a little stiff and needs to be used a little to soften — and the presence of a rear video stand that’s available as needed.
Three colors are offered. Then there’s Sarach Dockable ($100), a play-through design with a completely exposed screen, ports, and buttons, using stitched leather and snaps as nice touches; four colors are available, and a carrying bag is included in lieu of screen protection.
As the name suggests, it works with Apple’s iPad Dock and Keyboard Dock. Last is ZipBook ($100), a padded leather folio with a zipper and an integrated video stand.
