As parts of an extremely limited run of 1000 units, Speck’s new CES 2010 Special Edition versions of SeeThru, SeeThru Satin, Fitted, CandyShell and PixelSkin were amongst the most talked-about iPhone 3G and 3GS cases at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show. Bundled with clear screen protectors and individually numbered, the cases included seriously cool spins on the company’s prior designs — a Galaga-like houndstooth fabric pattern on Fitted, bright orange SeeThru and PixelSkins, a bubblegum CandyShell, and a Tiffany blue SeeThru Satin amongst others. Available in even more limited quantities was the gray and orange iLounge Special Edition CandyShell, part of a small and very limited series given away at iLounge’s CES booth; this is the first case with iLounge branding ever released to the public. Though the Special Edition cases aren’t available in stores, we’re hoping that Speck decides to bring some of them to production, as the blue SeeThru Satin and Galaga-themed Fitted are especially excellent designs.
