Spigen has introduced new versions of its Armor series of cases for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. We’ll take a look at Perfect Armor ($40) for iPhone 6s, and Slim Armor ($30) and Tough Armor ($35) for iPhone 6s Plus. All of the TPU/polycarbonate cases have a small, thin, built-in kickstand on the back, and full button coverage. Perfect Armor is the lone three-piece case — a thin screen protector fits on the front of the iPhone 6s.

Perfect Armor offers full protection for iPhone 6s — its screen protector features a cutout for Touch ID. A partial plastic shell (with the kickstand attached) fits into a larger TPU case to make the entire package. Button coverage is responsive.
Thin Armor and Tough Armor lose the front protector found in Perfect Armor, but are otherwise very similar. Thin Armor (pictured above) has rounded edges, and its soft touch buttons are flush with the harder partial back shell. Tough Armor (below) has sharper corners. We prefer its buttons, which stand out more than Thin Armor’s, but we don’t really know why it’s $5 more expensive.
Spigen’s Armor cases are a bit more traditional than the company’s thinner Hybrid line. We’re still not crazy about Spigen continuing to cut a hole in the back of these cases to show the Apple logo — we don’t think it’s necessary — but by and large, these are very good cases for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus respectively, and all three earn our strong general recommendation.
