Considering the iPhone SE shares the same dimensions as iPhone 5 and 5s cases, there’s already plenty of protection options out there for consumers to choose from, with many companies simply rebranding old cases to note compatibility with the new SE. That being said, we’ve still seen a few new designs for the SE, including a number of new cases from Spigen. Rugged Armor ($20), Style Armor ($25), and Wallet S ($25) are all recently introduced designs — the first two are more typical case options, while Wallet S is a wallet folio for iPhone SE.

Rugged Armor has the name of a tough, overprotective case, but in reality, it’s just a single layer of TPU. The case offers proper button coverage, and the port openings are noticeably large. Rugged Armor slips on and off an iPhone with ease — perhaps too much ease, some might say.
Style Armor is an old school hard plastic two-piece slider-style iPhone case, and it comes in two-tone designs, including the “rose gold” look seen here. Fit is fine and button coverage is proper.
Wallet S is a wallet folio case with two card slots and a cash pocket. As with many wallet folio cases, the outer flap provides most of what little protection there is, as the inner shell lacks button coverage. The card slots fit one card each. A magnetic flap keeps the folio case shut.
All of these cases are solid efforts from Spigen. Style Armor is our favorite of the bunch, as it’ll likely provide the best drop protection, and we think it has the nicest look, as well. Rugged Armor and Wallet S are also good cases, though we do have some concerns about Rugged Armor’s fit becoming too loose over time — the case’s lower price will calm those qualms a bit.
