STM has updated its Harbour ($25) case for iPhone 6 Plus. Unlike some past versions of the case, the newest edition of Harbour features full volume control and sleep/wake button coverage. Made up of “dual density” TPU, the case features a matte hard outer shell molded with a softer inner layer. Harbour also features a hinged bottom, allowing for easier port access. The hinge can also act as a stand for the large iPhone. Not only that, but Harbour is also being sold for a mere $25 — an extremely competitive price point for such a case.
There’s a lot to like about Harbour for iPhone 6 Plus. For a great price, the case features sturdy support and coverage, with the welcome addition of a hinged bottom. If we’re nitpicking — and we must — the rectangular camera cutout isn’t the prettiest, and while one of our editors appreciated the design, he didn’t like the “chunky” cosmetic appeal of the back. But everything else is very good.
The curved edges on Harbour feel very nice in the hand, which is a big deal for iPhone 6 Plus cases, as the size of the phone causes cases to press into the hand more than any other iPhone. And again, the value here is phenomenal. Mostly known for its great bags, STM has made a great case for iPhone 6 Plus.
