SwitchEasy’s sent us a number of cases for Apple’s new iPhones, many of which we’ve seen before for iPhone 6/6s, including 0.35, Numbers, and Monsters. (Those cases haven’t changed much outside of the new port holes; refer to those past reviews for our grades and more details.) New to us are Flash ($20) and Fleur ($25) for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Flash is an affordable TPU case with chrome-colored edges.
Fleur is somewhat similar, but its design features a raised floral pattern. Fleur comes in black and white, and Flash has multiple color options.
Despite Flash’s name, there’s nothing particularly showy about this case, chrome-colored accents notwithstanding. Not that there needs to be — it’s a solid, affordable, lightweight TPU case.
Fleur is far flashier, and while the flowery design isn’t our personal favorite, it will definitely appeal to some customers, and we always appreciate seeing something a bit different. The Fleur case also features SwitchEasy’s Aero-Tech design, which is made to make the case both protective and extremely lightweight. Button coverage is responsive on both cases, and the price is right, earning both Flash and Fleur a strong general recommendation.
