SwitchEasy’s Nude for iPhone 5 ($20) is designed for those who want super simple, super slim protection. The single piece of polycarbonate plastic snaps on like a shell, although the coverage along the top edge and built-in button protection cover more of the iPhone than is typical of the genre, while the screen doesn’t have any protective lip to protect an upside-down iPhone 5 from making contact with a surface underneath.
In addition to the wide selection of glossy bright colors, users also have the choice of pastel matte finishes or transparent cases. Nude comes with a pair of screen protector films, two port protectors, a microfiber wipe, a squeegee, and a sheet of film for the back of the iPhone.
Update: In May 2013, SwitchEasy released the extremely similar Neon for iPhone 5 ($20), which has a soft touch rubber coating rather than glossy plastic, and comes in bright orange, pink, green, or salmon colors. The first five pictures here are of Nude, the latter five of Neon.
