As an update to its prior RunAway, SwitchEasy’s new see-through RunAway Crystal ($9) and semi-opaque RunAway are still billed as “AnyShoe Adapters for iPod Sports Kit,” enabling you to use the Nike + iPod Sport Kit with any pair of sneakers you want.
The prior design, which had a somewhat challenging-to-open enclosure for the Nike+ Sensor, has been updated with a slide-open shell that is pinned closed and locked in place from behind; comparison shots are below.
Available in five colors — clear, clear red, and clear blue (all Crystal), white and black (standard), each RunAway includes two white Dock Connector covers for the Nike+ receiver, enabling it to store securely in the back of the RunAway when not in use.
