Though SwitchEasy’s new Torrent cases for the iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod touch initially look a lot like the company’s earlier CapsuleNeo and somewhat problematic NeoTouch, they’re actually substantially different: Torrent preserves the combination of a hard plastic center spine and a softer iPod or iPhone shell, but simplifies the design by removing the thin rubber insert altogether, then glams it up with ripples in the shell.
As always, Torrent comes with a wide variety of pack-ins — protectors, Dock Adapters, and video stands — and is available in a number of colors; both the iPod touch and iPhone 3G/3GS versions are sold in six similar color schemes, with slight differences in the two models’ white versions.
