First Look: SyntheCept Lyco Adapter for iPhone 4/3GS/3G

By Jeremy HorwitzMay 15, 2021 8:17 am UTC

Though there hasn’t been much demand for third-party Universal Dock Adapters in the past, SyntheCept has come up with the Lyco Adapter ($10), which transforms Apple- and third-party Universal Dock-equipped accessories and speakers for use with encased iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4 models. Lyco promises to work with “slim line” cases and with bare iPhone 4s, the latter using rubber bumpers included in the package. It’s sold in black, matching many third-party speakers with Universal Docks on top or in front.
