First Look: Tiet MyClip Palm + MyClip Thigh for iPad

Apple’s Steve Jobs has famously suggested that customers can’t predict what sort of future products they’ll love until they see them, so perhaps Tiet’s new MyClip Palm ($35) and MyClip Thigh ($40) just need a little more time to sink in.

Tiet pitches Palm as a “comfortable strap [that] allows the user to palm their iPad like a pro,” and Thigh as “a safe and secure way to use the iPad and have [] hands free to drink a cup of coffee or be able to type with two hands.” Without including a case, each MyClip uses a pair of flexible rubber grips to grab the iPad’s sides, then attaches to your body with a modestly elastic band: Palm has a hand-ready neoprene strap, and Thigh has a nice vulcanized neoprene and Velcro strap that wraps around your thigh, tightens to your preference, and holds the iPad there for use.

Surely Tiet went in the right direction by skipping an armband version.
