Trident Case’s Aegis Pro Case ($35) is a two-piece hard plastic case for iPhone 6s. Aegis Pro includes button coverage and, interestingly, built-in rubber covers for the headphone and Lightning ports. A lanyard loop is also included on the side of the case, though no lanyard comes with the case. A stick-on screen protector is also included. We don’t see too many straightforward plastic cases these days, so the look and feel is a bit different compared to the many TPU options out there (Aegis Pro only has a very thin TPU layer inside its shell). But the case doesn’t feel flimsy. Aegis Pro comes in blue, black, or pink.

Trident’s Aegis Pro is a solid option — it’s certainly a step up from the last Aegis case we reviewed for iPhone 6. Button coverage is responsive, the fit is spot-on for iPhone 6s, and some users may appreciate the dustproof port covers, too. It’s also lightweight, so there aren’t any concerns here with excess bulk or heft. Aegis Pro earns our general recommendation.
