Bear with us on this one because there are now so many different cases in these two familiar product families that even our own heads are spinning from all the variations — each case is for the fourth-generation iPod touch.
First, there’s Microshield ($20), a simple clear plastic rear shell that’s largely glossy with frosted accents, followed by Microshield Accent ($25), which adds an integrated ring of opaque colored rubber to the edge of the shell for extra protection, and Microshield View ($25), a completely opaque design that has a slide-off bottom piece and a flip-out stand for reclining video viewing.
Next up are the Tuffwraps, starting with the basic $20 Tuffwrap two-packs shown here — one black case paired with one alternately colored case — then moving on to Tuffwrap Tatu ($25), identical but for a geometric two-toned rear design, and Tuffwrap Play ($25), a gaming case with rear grip bumps and a grippy texture.
