Korean accessory developer Zenus has just launched an American offshoot, Zenus Case USA, and is in the process of readying a mass of iPhone 4 cases for sale in the United States. Most of the cases fall into three broad categories of materials — soft “Prestige” ($35-$40) and weathered “Vintage” genuine leather ($60), plus “Masstige” faux leather ($25-$30) — and two different designs, the flip-open “Folder Type” and the rear shell-only “Bar Type.” All of the real and faux leather finishes are pretty nice, including some faux-carbon fiber leather cases that are entirely acceptable for their low prices. The company’s fourth case material is plastic, which is used in “Air Jacket” plastic rear shells ($TBD) that have jewel-encrusted holes for the Apple logo on the back, and use a name that was popularized by Japan’s Power Support. Only the Air Jackets come with screen protectors and cleaning cloths; the rest do not. Some of the models feature the same sized camera hole that has been traditionally seen over the past few months, while others have the newer, larger opening we’ve reported on.
