Apple is rumored to have been making a version of the AirPods Pro with cameras built into them, not for capturing videos and photos but to provide Siri with information on your environment for Visual Intelligence features.
A video was seen in macOS Tahoe 26.7 showcasing the AirPods with cameras, meaning that the device does exist. It looks like a normal pair of AirPods Pro, but it could just be a placeholder for the device, and we have to wait for the unveiling to see what the device actually looks like.
The video shows a person taking a look at the book to get the AI to recognize the cover of the book. Other capabilities of the device have been seen on macOS showing it capable of capturing right and left paired images. These could be an alternative to smart glasses.
