Apple is rumored to be working on a pendant that is equipped with cameras, with a release slated as early as 2027. Development for the accessory has reportedly reached the advanced stage in testing alongside the AirPods Pro with cameras.
Apple is also working on creating smart glasses to rival companies like Meta with their Ray-Bans. The pendant is described similarly to an AirTag that would resemble the Humane AI pin that failed. It would have a camera and a microphone, with the camera always on for Siri voice commands.
The pendant is likely to be compatible with the revamped Siri features coming from iOS 27. The smart glasses are planned to be unveiled later this year or early next but the release will not happen until next year. The glasses will have built-in cameras for video and photo capture.
