In a bid to become the top streaming music service in the market, Amazon is now offering a new, ad-supported tier on its Amazon Music for the iOS platform.

This means those with Apple devices can download the Amazon Music app and listen to thousands of stations and hundreds of playlists for free without needing an Amazon Prime subscription or an Echo device.
The newest addition brings the total number of available tiers to three- one that’s ad-supported, another that’s $7.99 per month for those who have Prime, and finally $9.99 per month for those who don’t.
As for competitors, Spotify has been doing a similar model of ad-supported listening, while Apple Music is still largely an ad-free platform for streaming your favorite music.
The Amazon Music app is available to download on the App Store for free, with 3 subscription options greeting you at the start.
