Christian Selig, the developer behind the hugely popular iOS Reddit app will be donating the proceeds of his app’s sales to animal shelter SPCA.

SPCA, or Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Nova Scotia is the Apollo developer’s recipient for donations. Last year, Selig was able to raise over $5,000 largely from Reddit proceeds and donations from users. This year, Selig will be making the same pledge, explaining that it’s kitten season, which means that there’s a lot of kittens at the shelter vying for limited resources.
