DJ Khaled has been assigned as Apple Music’s first ‘Artist in Residence’ which was announced on Khaled’s Twitter account.
As Artist-in-Residence, DJ Khaled will be debuting new artists and taking over playlists in the music service platform. On the same tweet, Khaled invites other artists and record labels to collaborate. His first playlist, labeled Office DJ features songs from Lauryn Hill, Sam Cooke, Drake, Dr. Dre, Rick Ross, Buju Banton, Beyonce and more.
The Office DJ playlist description reads DJ Khaled as the first artist in residence who’s aiming to provide a little pick-me-up in terms of music from handpicked artists and songs spanning genres such as pop, reggae, R&B and hip-hop.
DJ Khaled, whose name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, is an American media personality, record producer, songwriter, record executive and DJ.
The playlist is free to listen and available to all Apple Music subscribers. His next playlist will be called ‘Gymflow playlist vibe’.
