As part of their Back to School promo, Apple is offering students 6 months of free Apple Music, which is double the free trial period for non-students.
Typically, free trial periods for retailers and carriers are anywhere from three to four months. The extended 6-month trial period is the longest offer in terms of Apple Music promotions. Once the promotion ends students start paying the student rate, which is $4.99 monthly.
To avail of the promo, students must verify through UNiDAYS and have a valid student email address. Keep in mind that the promo is only for new subscribers. Otherwise, you can get verified and switch to the student discount of $4.99 monthly.
Apple’s Back to School promotion offers students a free Beats headphones when they buy an iPad or a Mac computer, refreshed versions of the MacBook Air and the 13 inch MacBook Pro.
