Apple released some new updates to its Apple News App yesterday, announcing the Apple News+ subscription plan that Apple launched. After the new updates were released for the App, users at iLounge had reported that the Apple News App keeps crashing.

According to users on Twitter, the App keeps crashing on the latest version of the iOS 12.2 on all iPhone’s, iPad’s and on macOS Mojave 10.14.4. Currently, Apple support hasn’t made any statements regarding why the Apple News App is not working for users. Therefore, it’s unclear when would Apple release a new update for its News App to fix the glitch.

Update: After users stormed Twitter to report the issue to Apple Support, thankfully, it got Apple’s attention and are now aware of the issue. According to sources, they are now working on a quick fix. It’s unclear whether Apple would need to release an update for the iOS 12.2 or the Apple News App itself.
Update: Apple has said to have fixed the issue on all its platforms. If the Apple News App still crashes, users are required to restart their devices.
