It’s not often we see an ad for the Mac, but when it does appear it’s nothing short of fantastic. Mac music making is the clear message of the video, recently uploaded on Apple’s UK YouTube channel. The statement points to the fact that the Mac is still the musicians’ instrument of choice in music creation.
In the video, we get to see iconic entertainers and musicians, including Stormzy, Paul McCartney, Gorillaz, David Bowie, Lily Allen, and others in black and white. Further on, the Mac ad shows the British music scene creating, recording, mixing and composing songs on the Mac. Background music is set to the tune of “What We Do”, featuring Swindle in collaboration with D Double E, P Money, Rider Shafique, and Daley.
Apple also has made a new page in their UK website promoting music software such as Logic Pro X and GarageBand and Mac accessories such as the ROLI Songmaker and HypeMic by Apogee.
