Apple may soon be expanding their presence in Vancouver. The Cupertino-based company is expected to be occupying Vancouver’s 400 West Georgia development, described as ‘futuristic’ in terms of structure and design.
The tower, which resembles a stack of glassy cubes was taken from the design of a Japanese paper lantern. According to the website of Westbank, the property is set to be completed in 2020. The whole development will number 367,000 sq. ft. Spaces will have 120,000 sq. ft. while Deloitte will take 117,000 sq. ft.

Apple will have a neighbor with the new development. Amazon is set to build their offices in the former Canada Post center. The 416,000 sq. ft. building will serve as Amazon’s new office.
Currently, Apple has put their Canadian HQ offices as 120 Bremner Blvd in Toronto on their official website. In 2015, the Canada HQ was moved closer to Apple’s Eaton Centre store.
