Apple has announced that it will be renewing the show ‘Carpool Karaoke- The Series’ for the 3rd season. The announcement came on James Corden’s channel on YouTube. As of today, the season is officially in production, and teasers include an episode where the whole cast of ‘Stranger Things’ goes on karaoke mode.

Carpool Karaoke

Apple’s Carpool Karaoke is similar to that of James Corden’s segment from his late-night show. Athletes, musicians, and celebrities are paired together and put in a car to sing popular songs. Previous show attendees include Samuel L. Jackson and Brie Larson, Andy Samberg and Weird Al, Snoop Dogg and Matthew McConaughey and the Muppets and Jason Sudeikis.

Apple started Carpool Karaoke as promotional material for the company’s Apple Music, but then it was made available for free via the TV app. The second season came out October 2018, which can probably mean that the third season will be available come fall.
