Apple has hosted a premiere event at the LA Directors’ Guild for its upcoming series ‘Five Days at Memorial’.
The drama series tells the story of the Memorial Medical Center staff in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The show is based on the book by Sheri Fink and written by Carlton Cuse and John Ridley, and focuses on the decisions made by the medical staff amidst the disaster.

The cast and crew of ‘Five Days at Memorial’ attended the event, including Vera Farmiga, Cornelius Smith Jr., Julie Ann Emery, Cherry Jones, Robert Pine and Adepero Oduye. Carlton Cuse was also seen attending the premiere.
The first episodes of ‘Five Days at Memorial’ will be shown on Apple TV+ starting August 12, with the remaining ones introduced every Friday. Apple TV+ costs $4.99 a month and features original content such as ‘The Morning Show’, ‘Ted Lasso’ and ‘The Essex Serpent’, among others.
