Apple will be making a new Apple TV+ show called ‘Slow Horses’, with Gary Oldman being cast as the main actor. The show comes from a book with the same name, authored by Mick Herron.
The series will be about British Intelligence personnel ending up in the MI5’s Slough House department after having failed in their careers. Agent Jackson Lamb, played by Oldman is the department’s leader and conspires to get back to MI5’s good graces and ultimately, back to being a respected spy.

Will Smith is set to be the show’s writer, and Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Emile Sherman, Iain Canning, Hakan Kousetta, Jamie Laurenson and Graham Yost are the producers.
Apple TV+ is now live and cost $4.99 per month. Apple original shows you can watch include ‘Dickinson’, ‘For All Mankind’, ‘See’ and ‘The Morning Show’, among others. Upcoming shows for the platform are ‘The Banker’ and ‘Servant’, which will be shown December and Thanksgiving, respectively.
