Emmy Magazine is giving subscribers a behind-the-scenes special of the upcoming Apple TV+ drama ‘See’ and 3 months of free Apple TV+ when the service launches November 1.
‘See’ is a sci-fi series that stars Jason Momoa of ‘Game of Thrones’ fame as Baba Voss, a brave leader, warrior and guardian, alongside Alfre Woodard of the ‘Desperate Housewives’ fame as Paris, a priestess and advisor. The post-apocalyptic drama is set in a world where survivors have been rendered blind, hence the title.
The Emmy Magazine feature includes interviews with Zack van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht, who explained how blind and visually-impaired actors were cast, and how the team tapped into survival, biology and blindness consultants to make the series as realistic as they could.
The issue comes with a full-page advert where subscribers are offered 3 months of free Apple TV+ come November 1.
Apple TV+ will debut with a 7-day free trial period, and afterwards will charge users $4.99 a month.
