A few Amazon Fire TV Sticks can now download and run the Apple TV app, including the Basic Edition, the 4K model and the 2nd gen Stick.
To download the app, Fire TV stick users can go to the Amazon Appstore and get it there. Upon opening, the iTunes TV shows, movies and TV channels will become available to view. When the Apple TV+ service goes live on November 1 you’ll be able to stream original Apple content as well.
Amazon says that the Apple TV app will be introduced to other devices, notably smart TVs from Insignia and Toshiba, 3rd gen Fire TV dongles, 2nd and 1st gen Fire TV Cubes and Nebula sound bars.
The Apple TV app is also currently available on 2018 and above Samsung smart TVs, Roku, Apple TV, Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Sony, VIZIO and LG smart TVs will have it in the near future.
