Apple Watch users can now get the Google Calendar app for their devices.
Google recently debuted its Calendar app for watchOS, bringing calendar task functionality to the software. The dedicated app shows a simple view of Google Tasks and upcoming events on the user’s wrist. The week’s schedule is listed and all the entries are color-coded. The information in each card shows the associated location, task or title event, and scheduled time. Users can tap the card to get more details. It’s worth noting that users cannot edit or create events in the smartwatch itself, and if they try to do so they will be redirected to the Calendar app on the iPhone’s App Store.
Two other complications are added with the app launch, namely Today’s Date and What’s Next. Today’s Date shows the date and day via a circular format while What’s Next shows upcoming appointments in either rectangular or circular format.
