Nike Run Club for Apple Watch is Now Standalone

Nike has recently updated its Nike Run Club app to be a standalone platform, which means you won’t need to rely on your iPhone to access all the features it has to offer.

Nike Run Club for Apple Watch is Now Standalone

Users running watchOS 6 on their Apple Watch can download the app at the App Store and complete the setup without the help of another iOS device or having to log in on their Nike account. The initial process involves answering a few questions about your activity and health and granting Nike permission to access your location data.

All Apple Watches, including the Series 1 and Series 2 should be able to run watchOS 6. The new OS gives developers the ability to create apps that doesn’t need to be connected to an iPhone to work.

The Nike Run Club is available on the App Store and is free to download. Make sure you’ve updated to watchOS 6 first.
