Animoji, Memoji and new stickers for Clips App now live

Apple has updated its iPad and iPhone Clips app to include Memoji and Animoji. Users can now record videos using Memoji and Animoji characters.

In the Clips app, sharing of slideshows, video messages and others can now be done. Memoji and Animojis follow the user’s face to create selfie videos via the front-facing camera.

Customized Memojis in Messages can be transported to clips, while Memoji and Animoji videos can be edited with Clips features, e.g., music, animated text, and filters.

Clips is a video editing app for the iPad and iPhone that allows users to combine and create unique images and video clips with filters, stickers, music, graphics and titles which can be shared with friends and over social media.

Along with the update, Clips users will now be able to see new stickers (Minnie and Mickey Mouse) and a winter-themed poster. You will need an Apple device that has a TrueDepth camera hardware.
