Apple is rumored to have already made plans for a third-gen foldable iPhone. The upcoming foldable iPhone is going to be the first revolutionary change in design, with the company already having made a roadmap of two more generations of the device. The next one is slated for next year while the third-generation model will be released potentially in 2028.
The third foldable iPhone is rumored to have a slightly bigger display for both the outside and inside. Apple is expected to unveil the first foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models in September, with the device powered by the A20 chip. It will feature a 7.8-inch inner display, a 5.5-inch outer display, Touch ID, and will be given a C2 modem. The device has been given the Ultra branding.
A second-generation model is expected to be released in the fall of next-year rumored to be released with the 20th-anniversary iPhone.
